When is the right time to book my transfer?

We recommend that you book as early as possible, but at least 48 hours before the time of arrival. Tenerife Transfer guarantees that we will be able to deal with your request if the booking is made at least 48 hours prior to your time of arrival. We give no guarantee for bookings made less than 48 hours in advance. Whatever your circumstances, we will do everything we can to accommodate your needs.


What is the difference between our Shuttle Transfers and our Private Transfers?

Our Shuttle Transfer carries several passengers from one pick up point to multiple destinations.

Our Private Transfers are for single bookings only – whether they are for an individual or large groups.


Where will the driver drop me off? Directly to my accommodation or a meeting point in the vicinity?

The driver will drop you off at the closest, most convenient spot to your destination.


Where will the driver pick me up from upon my return?

The driver will pick you up at the location you specify. Please make sure that you are close by to the location and on time so the driver can identify you.


How much time do I have to allow to get to the airport?

When booking a transfer online, the time is calculated by us automatically.


Can I book child safety seats in advance?

Child seats for children aged below 3 years old and up to a height of 140cm can be booked in advance. Please keep in mind that child seats are not required for mini-buses or coaches.


What Special Baggage is allowed? For example, baby strollers, golf bags, bikes, etc.?

Special or Excess Baggage may be subject to a surcharge. Prams and travel cots must be registered when booking online and are eligible for an additional cost.


What methods of payment do Tenerife Transfer accept? How do I pay for my booking? What fees are charged?

At Tenerife Transfer, we accept all major credit and debit cards. There are no charges when paying by credit card.


What security precautions does Tenerife Transfer take to protect my personal data? Can I pay securely by credit card on your Web page?

All data is encrypted and we abide by Spanish Data Protection Laws which dictate how long we can store your details for and we are not permitted to pass your details on to any third parties.


Does Tenerife Transfer issue tax invoices?

Invoices are available in a downloadable PDF format.


How do I confirm my booking?

We will send an email confirmation to the email address you provide us with when making your transfer booking which you must print and present to the driver.

Can I cancel or alter my booking? Will charges apply?

You can cancel your booking at any time. To cancel free of charge, the cancellation must be made at least 48 hours before your pick-up date. The cancellation must be made via our bookings page. The same conditions apply when altering or partialy cancelling your transfer.

For cancellations made within 48 and 24 hours before your pick-up date with us, we charge a fee of 50% of the total cost of your booking. For cancellations made within 24 hours, the charge will be 100% of the total cost of your booking.

Please note: “No shows” (not appearing on the agreed date), will be charged 100% of the total cost of your booking and the return pick-up will be cancelled automatically. You may still book another return transfer with us if you can book it at least 48 hours in advance. You can click here to Reservas@VRT.es activate it again free of charge.

Where can I find the basic information about my transfer?

All information about your transfer booking can be found online at www.tenerifetransfer.net and on the confirmation email we send you upon making the booking.


Where will I find my driver waiting for me at the airport?

One of our drivers will be holding up a sign with our logo on it in the arrivals lounge after you have claimed your baggage. Please see below some photos of the arrivals lounge where you can expect to find the driver:


If my flight is delayed, will the driver will be waiting for me?

We check the status of your flight so we arrive on time. Early check-ins can be arranged, just get in touch with us once you have made your booking.


What happens if I can’t locate the driver?

Just in case you could not meet the driver at the exit of the luggage hall, please call our 24h service number. We will tell the driver where you are waiting. On early arrivals it can happen that the driver will arrive at the arranged pick-up time because he is busy and cannot arrange to be there before.

How do I receive my invoice?

We send a confirmation email with a tax invoice which can be used as a voucher and must be presented to the driver on both pick-up and return journeys. This invoice can also be used for accounting purposes.
